The WorkTable beta.5 port for this service, carried on a branch that had never been pushed.
Part of a sweep to get every repo's local work committed and onto one PR. The branch is being published as it stands; it has not been reviewed or rebased as part of that sweep.
Note:
Cargo.lockis left uncommitted in the working tree in several of these repos. That is a real gap, since the committed manifests already name the new dependencies, and it belongs to whoever owns this port rather than to the sweep.
